Barney Frank (D-Mass.), a chief sponsor of the historic Dodd-Frank reform law; Sheila Bair, reform-minded former head of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), the ranking member on the House Financial Services Committee.

But Himes distorted the position of all three. And he’s welcome to BITE ME.

According to the NY Post, police officer Andrew Torres lied on the stand (there’s video proof) in the case of Andrew James, a repeat firearms offender. Scalia speaks out of both sides of his mouth

The other day, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia questioned whether the 98 senators and 390 representatives who voted to renew the Voting Rights Act in 2006 were maybe influenced by crass political considerations (“This is not the kind of question you can leave to Congress.”).

But when it came to the Defense of Marriage Act, Scalia thinks that it’s not within the purview of the Supreme Court and they should defer to Congress (“[W]e have no power under the Constitution to invalidate this democratically adopted legislation.”).

Scalia is a puddle of pus. And he can BITE ME.

Romney’s ‘binders full of women’? Never happened.

At the presidential debate, Mitt Romney claimed to have asked for the names of qualified women for appointive offices in Massachusetts. That’s not the way it actually happened. The Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus went to _him_ with the binder.

Either the Mitt is showing early signs of diminished cognitive function . . . or he can Bite Me.

Now DesJarlais is making a series of denials, each more outrageous than the last. DesJarlais  says, “I am not the hypocrite my opponents and some liberal media outlets are portraying me as.”

Oh, I think the media has got the story right and DesJarlais is just trying to wiggle out.

Let’s say that what Romney says is true — what’s he gonna do? Throw them all off the welfare rolls and let them starve?

And while we’re bashing Romney . . . he’s now doing a 180 on immigration. Presumably he went anti-immigration to help clinch the Republican nomination. But now he’s moderating his rhetoric to try to woo Hispanic general election voters.
