Renowned lobbyist Rudy Giuliani revealed his doubts about the patriotism of Barack Obama at a recent right-wing love fest:
“I do not believe — and I know this is a horrible thing to say — but I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”
Why would a lobbyist say such a thing? Clearly Giuliani has given up any hope of successfully lobbying any Democratic administration and is hitching his future to the hope that some Republican gets into office: maybe some second-rater like Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Lindsey Graham, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Ben Carson, Mike Pence, or John Kasich.
