Oath Keepers plan to arm 50 black Ferguson demonstrators with AR-15 rifles and dare cops to shoot

The Oath Keepers are an anti-government group that claims they’re defending the U.S. Constitution. Big whoop.

But when they announce that they will arm blacks in Ferguson, Missouri, that’s when I get interested. Apparently they believe that the Second Amendment is not just for white people.

“TRAITORS” New York Daily News dares to call out Senators

B_sydpOWQAAAWStWhen he heard that forty seven Republican Senators had sent a letter telling the Iranian leadership that President Obama’s negotiations could not be relied on, your Bitemaster went apoplectic.

He saw this as another Republican attempt to undermine the President they had sworn to defeat. It was, the Bitemaster thought, an act of treason, though he could not bring himself to say so in public.

Now the Daily News has done it for him, calling the Republican Senators “traitors” for their attempt to usurp the constitutionally-mandated foreign policy authority of the President.

Seeing the headline was a satisfying moment for the Bitemaster. At least until he read this in the Washington Post:

Administration officials insisted that the president doesn’t need congressional approval to make a deal with Iran and that Congress wouldn’t be able to alter the terms of a deal.

Just a moment. If the President were trying to unilaterally make a treaty, shouldn’t the Senate push back?

New York Daily News blasts Cotton, Cruz, McConnell, and Paul over Iran letter: ‘TRAITORS’.

On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr. Javad Zarif, responded that “in our view, this letter has no legal value and is mostly a propaganda ploy.”

Sarah and Bristol Palin push fringe plan to let Muslims rewrite the Constitution

Yup, the Palins want to call a constitutional convention to rewrite the U.S. Constitution. They claim that “. . . average citizens can stop the federal spending spree, power grabs, and other abuses by proposing amendments to rein in the federal government.” But I think it’s just a ruse to throw out the First Amendment and impose Sharia law on God-fearing Americans.

Bryan Fischer explains the real meaning of the First Amendment

Christian pastor Bryan Fischer says that the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution only applies to Christianity:

“I have written on numerous occasions that the purpose of the First Amendment was only to protect the free exercise of the Christian faith and to prevent the selection and designation of one Christian denomination as the official church of the United States.” The Establishment Clause’s statement that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,” says Fischer, only means that the states can decide among themselves how to treat believers belonging to faiths other than Christianity. “The regulation of every other form of religious expression is reserved to the states, who then have complete latitude to restrain or permit religious expression as they see fit.”

This dude has totally nailed it. So I propose that the Temple of Satan renounce their wicked ways, change their name to the Temple of Jesus and start passing out coloring books in the public schools to promote snake handling, Sedevacantist Catholicism, the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, and Family International.

Bryan Fischer: ‘Freedom of Religion’ in US is only a choice of which Christian church to join.

Cost of exercizing 4th Amendment rights — $150.00

When Gregory Zullo refused a Vermont state trooper’s request to search his car, it got towed and he was charged $150 for the tow.

Later, a search warrant was issued for the car but police found nothing illegal and no charges were filed against Zullo.

Zullo, who is apparently still out the $150, is suing with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union.

High school student suspended for saying ‘bless you’ to a classmate who sneezed

When Dyer County High School senior Kendra Turner said “bless you” to her classmate, she says her teacher told her that was for church. Apparently, Turner received a brief (under one hour) in-school suspension.

The Bitemaster would be happy to learn that this is some sort of hoax, but many real media outlets are carrying the story and no one has gotten an official comment from the school or school district. Also, the high school’s website is offline and the county board of education’s domain is not resolving.

If the story is true — and it sure seems true — it is an infringement on freedom of religion.

Defense Dept. studying protesters to prepare for ‘mass civil breakdown’

Good news, kiddies! Not only are bell bottoms fashionable again, but COINTELPRO is back, too.

This time it’s called the Minerva Initiative and it’s being run by the Department of Defense. They’re using university academics to learn how to manipulate civilian activists, neutralize protesters, and subvert perceived troublemakers.

But there is a silver lining to this thing: we’ll be able to use the techniques developed by the Minerva Initiative to put the tea party out of business.

Flawed “stop and frisk” policy in New York City

Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch says “What gets lost many times in the quiet of a court room is that New York City police officers are trained observers who are skilled in spotting illegal weapons.”

So how good are these trained observers? A detailed ACLU analysis of police data reveals that less than 2% of those stopped actually had weapons. No wonder the NYPD refused to divulge the data — in violation of the state’s Freedom of Information law — and a court had to compel them to do so.

Other scathing reports have come from the Vera Institute of Justice, the New York State Attorney General, and the Center for Constitutional Rights.

Not only is “stop and frisk” of dubious constitutionality, it just doesn’t work.

Why are the police seeking another search warrant — this time for Justin Bieber’s cell phone?

Apparently I’m the only person on the Internets who thinks this whole Justin Bieber thing is weird and probably unconstitutional.

The guy is accused of throwing eggs at his neighbor’s house and the police show up with a felony search warrant, eleven vehicles, and a battering ram.

I doubt that the LA County Sheriff sends that much muscle to the average murder scene.

Apparently the cops haven’t found any evidence (of what?) yet, so they are now seeking a warrant for The Bieb’s cellphone.

I’m no Bieber fan, but something about this stinks.
